Knowing God CRE Grade 6 is a Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) course book approved by the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD). It is designed to help learners grow spiritually, morally, and socially by deepening their understanding of the Christian faith and values.

The book covers all the strands of the Grade 6 Christian Religious Education syllabus, including God’s creation, Jesus Christ’s life and ministry, the role of the Holy Spirit, Christian values, the church, and living harmoniously with others. Each strand is presented in simple, age-appropriate language supported by Bible references, illustrations, and practical examples.

It provides a wide range of learner-centered activities such as storytelling, Bible reading, group discussions, songs, memory verses, and project work. These activities encourage learners to reflect on Christian teachings, apply them in daily life, and develop key values like honesty, kindness, respect, forgiveness, and responsibility.

The book also integrates cross-cutting issues such as peace, environmental conservation, digital literacy, human rights, and community service, making CRE relevant to real-life experiences.
