Spotlight English Grade 5 is a comprehensive learner’s book fully aligned with Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). It covers all strands, sub-strands, and learning outcomes required for Grade 5 English, using clear and simple language alongside full-colour illustrations to enhance understanding. The book adopts a learner-centred approach, featuring discovery-based and inquiry-based activities that encourage collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. It integrates all four language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—through real-life, environmental, and practical tasks that make learning relevant and engaging.
